A distinctive style of handaxe created towards the end of the Middle Palaeolithic, used as a tool for butchery. The Bout Coupe handaxe is unique to British prehistory and relatively rare within it's timeline.

The Bout Coupe Handaxe is handmade and so varies in size from 13-14cm                         The product received may be slightly different in colour/appearance to the image due to natural variations in the flint rock.
