Mas d'Azil Horse Head

In 1887 Edouard Piette discovered many beautiful objects at the cave of Mas-dAzil, in the French Pyrenees. One of the sculptures was of a tiny horse's head carved from reindeer antler.
This replica is one of only 219 subtly different copies. It is cast in environmentally friendly, solvent free, acrylic gypsum resin and has been lovingly hand finished, stained and polished. It comes with a certificate.
Dimensions approx.: Horse head 8.7 x 4cm total height including wooden base is approx. 15cm.
